Vanier Alfred (Fred)
Of Embrun, Ontario, on August 19, 1985, at the age of 51 Mr Vanier was an employee of the Embrun Coop for the last 27 years. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of their Executive.
He is survived bt his wife Martine Piche; his parents Germain and Gracia Vanier of Embrun; his mother-in-law Mrs Jeannette Piche Cousineau of Embrun; two sons, Michel of Ottawa, Denis at home, 1 daughter Nicole (friend of Rolly Trepanier) of Gloucester; 2 brothers, Roger of Cyrville, Jean Guy of Edmonton; 3 sisters, Mrs Rita Carrier of Notre Dame des Champs, Denise of Ottawa Mrs Bruce Batiste (Jacqueline) of Brampton. Also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law.
Resting at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Forget Street, Embrun, Ontario, from 7 p.m. Tuesday;Wednesday from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10, Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of funeral. Eucharistic Celebration will be held at 2 p.m. in St. Jacques Church Embrun.
Interment Parish Cemetery Prayers by Knights of Columbus, Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Lafleur and Robert Funeral Home, Embrun, Ontario.
