Obituary

Alice Theresa Perry Vanier

Per The Cohoes American, Thurs. evening, November 28, 1940:
Mrs. Eugene Vanier, the former Alice Perry, died this morning at the Albany hospital following a brief illness. Born in Canada, the deceased had resided in Cohoes for the past 15 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Perry; four daughters, Mary, Alice, Helen and Dorothy Vanier; a son, Leo Vanier; two sisters, Eleanor and Irene Perry; three brothers, William, Leo and Alfred Perry, and several nieces and nephews., all of Cohoes.
The funeral will take place Saturday morning at 8 o'clock from the A. G. Boivin funeral home and at 8:30 o'clock from St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.
