D. E. O'Brien of Hydeville, Vt., is in the city, called here by the death of his brother-in-law, N. W. Vannier.


T h e body of Norman Wilford Vannier, who dropped dead Saturday morning in Maynard, Mass., arrived last evening In this city and was taken to Burns' undertaking rooms. William Vannier, a brother, who went to Maynard, accompanied the body to Troy. The Troy Lodge of Elks last evening conducted funeral services at the undertaking rooms. Rev. H. W. Little, chaplain of the lodge, officiating. The body was taken this morning to. Whitehall, the funeral party leaving the Union Station at 8:55 o'clock. The body was accompanied by Rev. Mr. little, two brothers, William and Charles Vannier, and a sister, Miss IRENE VANNIER. of this city, and Mr. and Mrs. D. E. O'Brien of Hydeville. Vt., Mrs. O'Brien being a sister. Rev. Mr. Little officiated at the grave in Boardman Cemetery in Whitehall.
