Émigration aux États-Unis (1850) et (1888)
- Cuthbert (Gilbert) aurait d'abord émigré aux États-Unis en 1850 avant son mariage. Il avait 17-18 ans.
Il est ensuite revenu au Québec pour se marier avec Louise Farley (en 1876) avec laquelle il a ensuite eu 4 enfants au Canada.
- Cuthbert (Gilbert) a ensuite émigrer une deuxième fois aux États-Unis (au Michigan) en 1888.
- En 1892, au Michigan, ils ont eu un 5e enfant, une fille nommée Annie.
- Finalement, ils ont eu un 6e enfant (Paul), décédé en 1902 (témoin au mariage de Annie Moss)

Possible family:

David Farly was born in St-Barthélemy, Berthier Co., Québec on March 28, 1831, the son of Antoine Farly, a farmer, and Marie Thadée Baril. He was baptized as "David Farly" on the same day in the Parish of St-Barthélemy. His godparents were Alexis Baril [maternal grandfather] and Elizabeth Sicard [paternal grandmother]. [Drouin B26, p. 5]

On January 27, 1852, in the Parish of St-Joseph, Lanoraie, Berthier Co., Québec, "David Farly", a minor, of St-Barthélemy, married "Marie Philomène Bonin", the minor daughter [age 14] of "François Bonin", a farmer, and "Emilie Grivaux dite Bois Joli". [Drouin M3, p. 4] Philomène was born in Lanoraie, Berthier Co., on November 4, 1837 and baptized as "Marie Philomen Bonin" on the following day in the Parish of St-Joseph. Her godparents were "Jean Baptiste Matte" and "Josephe Aimeri dite Coder". [Drouin B, p. 11b] Philomène died in St-Barthélemy on April 28, 1867 and was buried in the cemetery of the Parish of St-Barthélemy on the 30th. [Drouin S13, p. 10b]

On September 3, 1867, in the Parish of St-Joseph, Maskinongé, "David Farly", a farmer, married "Marie Zoé Lefebvre", the daughter of Charles Lefebvre and Julie Vermette. [Drouin M, p. 24b, 25] David died in Maskinongé, Québec on June 4, 1899, at the age of 68, and was buried in the cemetery of the Parish of St-Joseph in Maskinongé on the 6th. [Drouin S30, p. 17b, 18] David had six children with Philomène and another six with Zoé.
